Mark Tuil

Mark Tuil is assistant professor of Private Law at the Erasmus School of Law. He was born and educated in the Netherlands. He acquired his law degree at the Erasmus School of Law (2003). In 2009 he defended his thesis ‘Verdelingsbeslagen’, concerning Seizure of co-owned property with a view to division.

Mark is a member of the research program ‘Behavioural Approaches to Contract and Tort: Relevance for Policymaking’. He also serves as research coordinator to this programme.  Mark’s research interests include Property Law, Insolvency Law and Civil Procedure Law.

Mark teaches the Property and Insolvency course of the ESL bachelor programme and gives guest lectures in other courses.
